Back Inflate BCDs

Back inflate BCDs are popular among technical divers. Instead of inflating in the front or sides, back inflate BCs feature air cells or inflation bladders on the back plate. They're less inherently stable than jacket-style BCDs. On the other hand, your chest area is completely open for attaching a wide variety of scuba gear.
